Creating sustainable practice.

Sometimes expected as a catch-all, the role of Production Manager or Technical Director may be murky and change from job to job.  Means of Production is working towards creating a more consistent expectations for both sides through to bring realistic expectations for both employer and employee. 

Means of Production is researching and developing a Standard Terms of Agreement about the role of a Production Manager and/or Technical Director, which will be a living document that reflects the position for producers and managers.  We are doing this to help provide proper tools for negotiating contracts, or to know when one is being asked to do tasks outside the scope of a production manager.
